Sturgeon's law: 99% of everything is terrible.

I know many people say that there are no good novels on this site, and it oftens feels like the top lists are filled with overpowered MC's, undeveloped harems, 2D characters, and lacking plots.

There are some novels that stand out, however, whether that be for their plots, characters, or translations.

This is a list for my personal 1%. It is ranked in order.

What I think are pretty good novels to read.

Will be refreshing this list as I read more novels. I haven't read most of the novels on NU, and there are quite a few that I'm in the middle of reading that I won't add to this list unless I read at least half of it lolol. Also, most of the BLs I like are currently untranslated ;w;

This is a list of fun romps and good stories to sink your teeth into. As I read many types of stories there are many different types on here. Ignore the ranking check my descriptiors. I hope this list can help you find a story to satisfy your current reading needs.

I like novels in which upper mentioned things are there (anyone). But, MC should not share his powers with others and form an Adventure Party or so. Reality doesn't work like that.

I don't want MC to share his unique cheat or system power with others.

[ Just think if everyone can become iron man, then MC is no longer unique but instead too common. And in a fantasy world if you are not unique then do you think one day you can become strongest or God or something. Then no. Giving my system to others. WTF? Why not become a side character instead and help MC to become strong ( like a stepping stone ).]

MC who are high over heels behind girls, I don't like.

If MC is not unique, then alright. But, he should at least have a strong mentality or great ambition. Not like I want to live a happy life but instead, I want to become strongest, WHY? Go ask Goku why? No need to have a reason for this, right.

It's like why you want to be rich?

I don't like MC who is too kind and childish and author show it as it is best and noble and good.

Novels that I've enjoyed. Some are fluffy, some are angsty, and some are just plain weird. I do apologize. The novels are not in a specified category (eg. World Hopping, Transmigration, Reincarnation, and etc.) Not in order, Will update when needed.

Well you can call it my romantic novel collection that I've already read in NU.

A list from the best novel, I found. They cover a pretty large pool of genre. They mostly go with  action, harem, male proto & ''romance''.

Raise a hand if you recognize: A sweet/wild/sexy/dangerous/smart/lively/pure Chinese girl meets an overbearing boss/actor/CEO/prince/cultivator/general/demon/'god' of any field, and he falls in love with her. As soon as they have any sort of relationship, the girl becomes a pretty prop, while the guy is the one doing/deciding everything. Male friends? Forbidden! Going somewhere alone? Forbidden! Doing something slightly dangerous? Forbidden! Oh, she talked to a handsome male? She must be punished. In bed.

This list has none of it. Both characters have their own problems, their own goals and their own free will. Even when one has to depend on another, it's because they want it, not because it was forced on them.
