Disclaimer: Some of these novels are extremely cliche, loved, and hated on. Aka, you DON'T have to like all of them, or even any of them really. These are just some of the more well-know novels that, I believe, are all worth checking out (lol mainly because of the amount of reads and reviews they have ;P). And walp, that's kinda the whole point of this list >.>

This list introduces the various popular/common/cliche tropes and genres of the translated novels community. I just want to point out the fact that this list is supposed to cover a wide range of genres and audiences. It doesn't cover everything, but I think most of them are here. I enjoyed these, and I think it's a good place to start reading from. (I tried to have novels for both male/female preferences). While some of these novels may be long, that does not mean you have to finish the entire thing -_- , if you enjoy it, good, keep on reading! If you don't enjoy it, then stop, no one's forcing you to continue.

The list is in no particular order, although I did try to put them into categories ... that kinda worked, ish. Some of these novels are officially licensed, so you may have to get the rest of the chapters from other sources (Google and *cough* aggregate websites *cough*).

Pls don't hate Orz. When I was first introduced to translated novels, everything seemed pretty good to me T^T.

Honestly, I'm just making this list so that I have a place to find my favorite novels at anytime instead of flipping through my various reading lists.

Small list of the stories I've found to be compelling even if flawed due to at the very least getting the basics right if not excelling in one aspect. (world building, character growth, character development, action, humor, etc.)

"The best stories with a super overpowered protagonist don't rely on combat to be the motivating force for plot progression. 
It's interpersonal relationships, it's a time limit on how long they have to reach a goal, it's severely limiting factor on their powers, any number of other things. 
Making a story about a super overpowered protagonist, and then making every single piece of conflict in the story based around fighting severely drags a story down."

Not in particular order! A collection of stories that really made feel things beyond "that's cute and gay".

A twist on the Summoned Hero/Saint cliche. The MC is summoned to another world, only to be told, that the summoners "made a mistake" and that the MC isn't the Hero/Saint because they either have a skill deemed as useless or are otherwise different from the summoners' preconceived idea of the Hero/Saint. This leads to the MC being increasingly scorned and ridiculed, until they are eventually abandoned by the very group that brought them here. Generally, the MC then either makes a discovery about their seemingly tr*sh skill or otherwise obtains something that makes them into an OP cheat.

Favorite Rebirth/Transmigration Historical Novels I've read with Female Lead and no reverse harem

Novels driven by the romantic plot. Easy on the brain aimed straight to your heart!

This is a list of novels that I'm currently reading. Some are waiting for English translations, some translations dropped by translators, and others I've dropped for various reasons (which I will note).

Her half-sister was supposed to marry the younger son of the Ye Family but refuses and ran away so MC had to marry in her place. The younger son of the Ye Family also refuses so his older brother replaced him. MC and ML had met previously at a wedding. MC is out to destroy her family.

- Dear Young Master Spare Me Please? (Ch 66; Han Meixu & Liu Zijan): With the help of ML's mother, MC used ML to create a scandal so that she will not have to marry the person her grandfather arranged for her. ML was able to track her down and forced her to marry him.

- Hello Mr. King (Ch 157; Yun Xiangxiang & Song Mian): MC was an actress in her previous life. She committed su*cide knowing that she will die from cancer thus being reborn as a student. Before she chased fame and money, this time around, she just wants to be a quality actress. 

Looking at the MCs from a psychological point of view. Simply enjoyable reads with an MC who has a sickly/messed up mind.
